Yay! A very nice brunch club opened in our building.

The coffee is good and the place is very warm and lovely.

There is a new French cafe in town. We've tried it this morning and it looks like it has a good selection of sweets :)

Espresso in Factory cafe

I am privileged to work in an office which has one of the best cafes in North of Stockholm :))

Now I am enjoying an espresso in Factory Cafe, named like this because it is build where an old factory use to be (from what I recall).

Discovering the Italian espresso

After an excellent holiday in Italy, I've learned how to drink and appreciate an espresso :)

Now I am making a top on best espresso places in Stockholm - best for my taste.

So far Sosta Cafe was the best.

Il Cafe was good also, but a bit too bitter for me. And the one at Cafe Pascal needs something sweet to go along. Otherwise it is a bit sour.

Well .. I've enjoyed all of them anyway.

Tattoo and coffee parlor, Arlanda airpot

Going to or just leaving Stockholm and want to have a long lasting memory? 

The tattoo and coffee parlor in Arlanda airport is the perfect place to get that lasting memory :))

I just got a coffee and it was good. Nice, smooth taste of coffee and milk

Cafe Saturnus

When we moved to Stockholm we lived 5 min away from this cafe. It was always crowded and people were eating good looking buns.

This place is a bit expensive. However I love their sweets and coffee.

Borgs Bageri, Vasastan

Super cozy and retro cafe.

Origo, Bucharest

A little be far from Stockholm, over many seas and mountains lays a super coffee place: Origo cafe in Bucharest (Romania).

Petite France, Kungsholmen

La bonne femme, Vasastan

Good place to get a coffee and be on the road.

The place has a nice design, I am pretty sure it is in the same family with Fabrique

Sixten&Frans, Kungsholmen

Nice place with good coffee and cool paintings (for sale) on the walls.
Not very cozy but very spacious which we LOVED.

Actually now that I think of it, the fact that it has space between the tables and you can have a normal conversation is Amazing and rare in Stockholm (city center at least).

Kaffeverket, Vasastan

Lovely place, good for breakfast or lunch.

This is actually one of the first cafes we went to when my sister was visiting and Clara was one week old.

The photo below was taken during our last visit. Clara was already 10, almost 11 months old :)

Lindquists Konditori, Odengatan (Vasastan/Ostermalm)

I have such a back log to publish :)

End of last week I tried Lindquists Konditori. I've been passing by their nicely organized windows forever and never tried it.

It's an old fashion cafe, with nice cafe and interesting clients. We shared the table with a lady (around 70) dressed in red, who was reading a book and eating a semla and coffee. I wish I could have taken a photo of her.

Instead I publish na photo of me with Ana-Maria's semla - I did not have one that day :)

Mellqvist Café, Vasastan

Mellqvist.. one of the first cafes we tried in Stockholm.
Love their breakfast and the atmosphere.

Plus they have an excellent coffee and it's the place to be in Vasastan :)

Normally we go there for breakfast durign the weekend, but today I treated myself with a breakfast at Mellqvist on a Friday.

I also spoke with the owner who asked me about Nadia Comanici :) and I told him how much I love coming to Mellqvist for coffee.

Kahls Cafe (Kista or T-Centralen)

Had a coffee at Kahls today. They have a coffee and tea shop in Kista and one in the city center.
My colleagues love their coffee!

They have a nice poster on the wall which says that in mid 50's when Italians came to work in Sweden and they thought the coffee here is terrible :) so they started a business to bring coffee to Sweden.

And of course besides coffee they have Chocolate

The Greek frappe - in Aruba

This is an off topic post in terms of location.

BUT it is the best coffee we had in Aruba. A Greek frappe make by a real Greek.

Gateaux, Vasastan

Really good bread and brie and salami sandwich (always with wallnut bread).
And the usual latte. This one is Daniel's, I am taking a break and not drinking coffee

Il caffee, Kungsholmen

There are several Il caffees in Stockholm and this one is my favourite one because it had a hidden terace in the back.

Lovely and relaxed athmospere - the barista are mostly Australian and always in a good mood

Workers cafe, Kista (entry from Jan 15)

Workers cafe is definitely not the name of the place - but it is in Kista where we work :)
Most of the customers are either Ericsson employees or construction workers as there is a lot of building going around.

That being said, they have a pretty good latte and decent sandwich; which is always served *elegantly* plastic wrapped  :))

Nybergs hembageri, Vasastan

Old style cafe with crochet on the tables.
They are famous for the traditional cakes - will try one next time I am here.

Brunkebergs bageri, Vasastan

This is my dearest bakery!
When we moved to Stockholm we wished to have a delicious and cozy bakery right at our door steps.

This is what Brunkeberg means for me, plus when I say Brunkeberg I say an excellent vesterbotten (hard cheese) sandwich.

Ugo, Kungsholmen

A short stop before work today.
The coffee at UGO is really strong.

I had a photo with the coffee too, but my phone refuses to upload it.

Cafe Pascal, Vasastan

Today we went to Cafe Pascal. I've probably been here a hundred times before.
It's owned by a sister and two brothers.

I like the atmosphere and the fact that the owners are serving and are there most of the time.
